Session 13 - Anne Klitgaard Thompson: Learning the Language to Advocate: My Journey in Child Theology
If children are to be placed in the middle, those who are advocates for the children need a language that allows them to advocate in the first place.
Anne Klitgaard Thompson has taught children's workers and experienced the difference knowledge of theology has made to their ministry to and with children. In response she has written a book titled "What about the children?" coming out this October, trying to introduce knowledge of children's spirituality, child theology and its implications for congregations. "What about the children?" is a simple yet powerful question. The book seeks the "why" of children's ministry by providing a language of theology for those engaged in ministry with children.
